Kinesiology is a term which implies broad and inclusive study of human movement: art, science, historical evolution, roles in society, and impact upon personal lives and well-being. The academic discipline of kinesiology includes exercise physiology, biomechanics, sports medicine, pedagogy and teaching, motor learning and control, sports psychology, sport sociology, sports philosophy, dance education, fitness and wellness, and coaching.
