Sciences and Pharmacogenomics (PSPG) is to expose
students to major questions in the pharmaceutical
sciences concerned with the discovery, development
and therapeutic use of drugs. The Program seeks
to give students the basic science background
needed to address these questions, and to create
an environment where students can develop into
independent and creative scientific problem solvers.
The traditionally strong Program in PharmaceuticalSciences
at UCSF has now been enhanced bythe addition of
Pharmacogenomics as an integral part of its curriculum.
