The California College of Podiatric Medicine
is one of seven accredited podiatric medical schools
in the nation and the only one between California
and Iowa. The main campus is located in the Western
Addition (lower Pacific Heights area) of San Francisco.
The 85-year-old non-profit institution provides
a post-baccalaureate four-year, full-time program
leading to the degree of Doctor of Podiatric Medicine.
CCPM also offers a Master of Science degree in
Medical Education. The school also provides post-doctoral
residency and fellowship training, which requires
an additional one to three years. This year, the
college enrolled 322 students.
